Adding Kaseya VSA R9.1 in Single Sign On v4.5 & v4.6

With the release of Kaseya VSA r9.1 it is now possible to add Kaseya VSA to the AuthAnvil Single Sign On portal.

For information on the release of Kaseya VSA r9.1 please see this article.

Note: Kaseya VSA r9.1 is required for this integration.

 

Adding Kaseya VSA to Single Sign On v4.5.3

To add Kaseya via SSO please follow these steps.
Note: These steps only applies to Single Sign On v4.5.3

  1. Log into your AuthAnvil Manager 
  2. Select Single Sign On > Applications > Add New Application.
  3. Choose Add Custom Application

Application Configuration

Select Enable this Application and enter the following Fields

  • Display name
  • Application Description
  • Owner
  • Roles Allowed to Access the Application

Under Change Application Image you can upload an icon for the application. You can use the file VSA_ICON.png attached to this article as well

 Once you have updated the settings select Protocol Configuration.

Protocol drop-down select SP-Init Redirect

Update the Reply to URL: https://(YourKaseyaServer)/vsapres/web20/core/ssologin.aspx

Select Advanced Protocol Settings.

  • Enable Sign Message
  • Disable Sign Assertion.
  • Confirmation Method - Bearer Token.

Once these settings are complete select Attribute Maps.

 

Attribute Maps

Remove the following attribute

{Email} http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2005/05/identity/claims/name

 

Add new Map (The following may already be set.

  • Attribute Name: {UserName}
  • Outgoing Claim Type: http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2005/05/identity/claims/name

Once the Attributes are updated select Save Changes. You should now see the application in the SSO Sign On portal

Adding Kaseya VSA to Single Sign On v4.6

To add Kaseya via SSO please follow these steps.

Log into your AuthAnvil Manager 

  1. Select Sign Sign > Applications > Add New Application.
  2. Choose Add an application from the Catalog.

Application Configuration

Select Enable this application

Select the Roles you want to have access to this Application.

Once you have updated the settings select Protocol Configuration.

Update the Reply To URL to reflect your Kaseya Server.
Note:  Replace http://kaseyamachine with the external SSL protected Base URL for your Kaseya VSA server.

Attribute Maps

Select Attribute Maps.

Remove the following attribute

{Email} http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2005/05/identity/claims/name

 

Add new Map (The following may already be set.

  • Attribute Name: {UserName}
  • Outgoing Claim Type: http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2005/05/identity/claims/name

 

Select Save Changes

You should now see the application in the SSO Sign On portal.

Enabling Single Sign On in Kaseya VSA

Note: This integration requires that the steps in this article have already been completed. 

  1. First log into the AuthAnvil Manager https://(Your Domain)/AuthAnvil/Manager > Single Sign On > Server Settings.
  2. Download Certificate.
  3. Copy this certificate to the Kaseya VSA server.

Log into Kaseya VSA. Select AuthAnvil. Select configure Kaseya Logon.

  • Under Kaseya Single Sign On Configuration
  • Select enable Single Sign On to Kaseya.
  • Update the Reply to URL: https://(YourKaseyaServer)/vsapres/web20/core/ssologin.aspx
    Note: Replace (YourKaseyaServer) with the fully qualified domain name of your Kaseya VSA Server.
  • Upload the certificate previously downloaded from the AuthAnvil Server.

Select Save Settings.

You should now be able to log into Kaseya via the SSO portal.
