Kaseya VSA Logon integration settings R7 - Newer

If you need to update the settings for the Kaseya VSA Logon using the Free logon agent this is managed in the ksubscribers DB.

Accessing the Database

Open SQL Management Studio > ksubscribers > Tables > dbo.AA_Settings

Edit the table by selecting Edit Top 200 Rows.

Note: It is normal if the following Settings show a PartitionID of 0.

Settings Description

Here are the settings you may need to change during management of the VSA integration.

PartitionID - These should allways be set to 1 by default.

SASURL - This should match your 2FA SAS. You can verify this on the AuthAnvil Server using the AAWebConfigEditor located in the following directory.

C:\Program Files\Scorpion Software\AuthAnvil\AuthAnvilTools\

SiteID - This is 1 by default.

usersNotRequiring2FA - Users can be entered as comma separated with no spaces.

fred,jack,john,jsmith

Note: Kaseya VSA Usernames are case sensitive so you will need to match your whitelisted usernames to match the case as entered in VSA.

Note: As of R8 patch 14 if you are using domain authentication you will need to update your user whitelist from this format

fred,john,james to domain.com/fred,domain.com/john,domain.com/james

ipWhiteList - IP's can be entered as comma separated with no spaces. IP's will need be entered using CIDR format.

Example: 192.168.1.1/32,10.10.1.1/32

userWhiteListRequires2FA -  Setting the Value to 1 will reverse the user whitelist and force all whitelisted users to use 2FA to access VSA.

TFALogonDisabled - Changing the Value from 0 to 1 will disable the 2FA requirement for VSA.

Note: if you are using paid VSA Addin the User and IP whitelist will actually be stored in dbo.AA_ExtendedSettings.
