VSA v7 Patch 25 2FA User Whitelist is not being recognized

Issue

With the release of Kaseya VSA Patch 25 we have identified a couple issues with the User white list. Domain authenticated users are failing to login. As well non domain users are failing due to case-sensitive usernames.

Cause

VSA v7 patch 25 requires the white listed users to be added with the user names including the Domains for all VSA servers that require Domain authentication. As well a change was made to make the white-list case-sensitive.

Resolution

Fix #1 Make sure your users are added to the white-list with the case matching the usernames listed in VSA > System > User Security > Users.

Fix #2 For customers using the AuthAnvil Logon integration you will need to update the ksubscribers > dbo.AA_Settings table.

Here is an example of the white-list with both domain and non-domain users.

Note: Uses must be entered comma separated with no spaces.
