AuthAnvil Radius Server Service Fails to Load on Startup (Legacy)

Issue

The AuthAnvil Radius Server Service fails to load on start up, but can be started manually. The Service Control Manager reports a timeout in the System event log.

 

Cause

A bug in the service may cause it to time out while waiting for the networking stack to load, causing the service to fail to start.

 

Resolution

This issue has been resolved in the latest release.Install AuthAnvil Radius Server 3.1.0.1 or later, available from the Download Center.

 

Affects

AuthAnvil Radius Server 3.1.0.0 and prior.
