How does my AuthAnvil Server "check in" for subscription usage?

AuthAnvil Two Factor Auth, Password Server, and Single Sign On are subscription-based software products. To verify that the software is configured with an active subscription account, the software checks in several times a week. These subscription check-ins include several pieces of information:

  • Active seat count
  • Server name
  • A special database identifier
  • External IP address of the server (where the subscription request came from)

This information is sent securely over HTTPS so your firewall must allow outbound connections over Port 443. If you are unable to make outbound internet connections, please contact your account manager for alternate subscription options or send an email directly to IAM.sales@kaseya.com for more information.

You can find more details about billing and subscriptions here.
